Grantham Town visited Northolme on Tuesday night where they held Gainsborough Trinity to a 1-1 draw.
Grantham fielded a strong line-up for the friendly game against their higher league opponents who fielded mainly trialists.
Gainsborough pressed from the start and had a couple of chances cleared off the line. But it was not all one-way traffic, and Phil Watt had a header bounce back off the crossbar.
Grantham took the lead on 45 minutes when Sam Purcicoe fired home a 20-yard shot .
The second half saw the homem side on the attack and on 50 minutes shot narrowly wide of the post.
Trinity equalised on 52 minutes when a through-ball was fired low under Turner in the Grantham goal by Roberts, following a good pass from Binns.
Grantham had a number of chances, with Jordan Hempenstall the most dangerous forward having a number of opportunities to put Town back in front, but it was not to be.
