Grantham Town’s joint managers will be in the dug-out at the start of next season.
Co-bosses Gary Sucharewycz and Ian Robinson agreed terms with the club’s board of directors last night after the Gingerbreads won their final home game against Marine on Saturday – which virtually guaranteed the club’s survival in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division for another season.
Sucharewycz and Robinson took over mid-season following the departure of Wayne Hallcro and Jimmy Albans, and an imposed budget cut, and kept Grantham Town up with a new team gradually moulded together during their tenure.
Robinson said: “It’s good news. We can now get on with securing the players we want to keep at the club and then work to bring in those who we feel will improve things at the Meres.”
