AS Grantham Town look to their return to the Northern Premier League Premier Division in August, the club this week announced a new two-year deal with main sponsor Stoneacre Motor Group.
Negotiations between the Gingerbreads and Stoneacre began back in February and the deal was finally secured last Friday.
Stoneacre sales manager Steve Ronson said he recognised the great success that Grantham Town had achieved over the last two years they had been involved with the club.
And he said with the Gingerbreads achieving promotion by winning the Northern Premier League Division One South, Stoneacre had felt it vital to continue its support for its local football team.
Mr Ronson said: “Stoneacre are proud to announce the further two-year deal as the main sponsor for Grantham Town Football Club.
“We are working very closely with Sophie Cope at the club, whose positive and proactive approach has strengthened the bond between Grantham Town and Stoneacre.
“We have already begun to plan events and promotions for the upcoming season which will involve the local community and further promote the success of Grantham Town and Stoneacre Motor Group.”
Grantham Town chairman Steve Boam was equally delighted with the deal which will help the club as the Gingerbreads look to progresss.
Mr Boam said: “The club is delighted to have kept our main sponsors on board for a further two seasons.
“This reflects the stability at the club which last season’s success was built on.”
