As part of Grantham Town’s 140th anniversary this season, the club is launching a grand prize draw.
Tickets will go on sale from September until April 2015 and will raise monies for both Grantham Town youth and Grantham Town FC development.
Eight charities will each be presented with a £140 cheque in May at the president’s end-of-season ball to round off the 140th season. Charities interested in benefiting should apply to the club.
Gingerbreads chief executive officer Barrie Pierpoint is appealing to all businesses in the area to donate a prize, which can be either a product or service. The club is looking to obtain 140 prizes, making this one of the largest draws in the area which will benefit local charities as well as youth development at The Meres.
Each business providing a prize will receive four match tickets to a game of their choice, worth £40, for the use of staff, customers, suppliers or a worthy cause.
