Grantham Town were dealt a hammer blow at AFC Fylde on Saturday, losing 5-3 after they recovered from a 5-0 deficit.
The Gingerbreads went behind after three minutes and conceded again nine minutes later. Town went three down on the half hour mark and were losing 4-0 at half time.
Grantham conceded a fifth on 64 minutes, but Paul Grimes put his name on the scoresheet for Town from the penalty spot three minutes later.
Jamie McGhee scored for Town in the 77th minute and Ashley Robinson closed the gap further three minutes later, but the Gingerbreads were unable to make any further inroads in the last 10 minutes.
