A top of the table clash saw Ropsley turn in their best display of the season so far.

The home side created chances early in the game but had to wait until mid-way through the half to make the breakthrough.

Striker Rich Healey carried the ball down the left flank before cutting inside and having his heel clipped as he bore down on goal.

Midfielder and man-of-the-match Richard Payne found the bottom corner from the spot.

Healey was next on the scoresheet when he coolly finished across the keeper.

Healey scored his second just before half time when Lewis Watson beat the full-back and crossed for Healey to finish at the near post.

Ropsley made certain of all three points minutes into the second half when Healey turned the ball home from close range for his hat trick. The goals dried up with Healey’s withdrawal early in the second-half.

Nobody Inn Athletic fought for the whole 90 minutes but rarely threatened the Ropsley goal.
