Following their successful open days for under-12 to 16 girls, Harrowby United have announced its first training session for ‘open age’ ladies’ football (16 years and over, as of June 1, 2016).

The first session will be held on Sunday, January 24, 11am to 1pm, at the club’s Environcom Stadium in Dickens Road, off Harrowby Lane.

The session is free and players will learn to play competitive football under the guidance of FA-qualified coaches and an experienced manager. The club’s ultimate aim is to form a team to compete in a local ladies’ football league.

No experience is necessary; just pop along with boots, shinpads, waterproofs and a drink. Both groups and individuals will be welcomed.
