Harrowby United this week announced that another local player from the club has progressed to a higher level of football.
Sam Hill has left the club to play for AFC Stamford in the Northern Premier League Premier Division, against the likes of Grantham Town.
He was playing in his fourth season at the Arrows and decided to leave after thinking over a seven day approach from the Daniels. He made 141 appearances and scored 14 goals for Harrowby, playing either in defence or midfield.
Sam leaves with the best wishes of everyone at the Arrows and made his debut for Stamford in a 2-1 home win over Hyde United on Saturday, in front of a crowd of more than 400.
Meanwhile, Harrowby’s game at Newport Pagnell Town on Saturday was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
This Saturday, the Arrows host Desborough Town at the Environcom Stadium in Dickens Road, kick-off 3pm.
