William will march on to the famous Wembley turf for FA Cup final day

A LUCKY schoolboy will get to live out every young lad’s dream by leading the teams out at Wembley for this year’s FA Cup final.
William Hodder, aged seven, a pupil at Harby Primary School in the Vale of Belvoir, won the chance through a competition organised by FA Cup sponsors E.on.
Little William became the most popular kid in school as a result as the famous trophy came to visit the school on Tuesday.
Proud mum Joanne Hodder said: “He couldn’t stop smiling when he found out he had won and he is so excited about his special day at Wembley.”
William won the competition by coming up with a list of ways to help save energy around his family home.
To secure the win William even created his own energy saving superhero. His character would go round the house three times a day to check all lights had been switched off and no electrical items had been left on standby.
As an extra bonus, William’s success also mean his school will be given football equipment worth £500.
Headteacher Richard Simpkins said: “I’m thrilled for William and the whole school has been able to enjoy his reward.”
