Grantham Town this week announced its first ever half term soccer school will be run by the Gingerbreads Soccer School next Monday (October 26).

The camp will be supervised by qualified FA coaches and includes lunch, refreshments, certificates, medals and presentations. Starting at 9am with registration and concluding at 4pm, it is open to both boys and girls between the ages of six and 12 years of age.

The club’s chief executive Keith Horton said: “Following on from the success of our regular Saturday soccer school, we are pleased to be able to offer this half term activity. The intention is to give the children a full day of activities which will combine football skill development within a fun environment.”

Soccer school manager Paul Teare said if the day was a success, they will look at further camps: “All my coaches are FA qualified with all the necessary certificates in place and up to date. This gives parents the confidence to leave their children with us during the day safe in the knowledge they will have a very enjoyable experience in a safe environment.”
