Grantham Ji-Shin Karate club hosted an open karate seminar with 5th dan sensei Keith Walker.
The course content was fight, pad drills and takedowns, all of which will help with competion and also improve technique.
The course received great feedback and club instructor Angie Emms said they would be doing another in Grantham before the year is out.
She said: “Keith has won many competions over the years in all martial arts – karate, ju jitsu, thai boxing and ABA boxing. He is a very hard-working, dedicated, talented martial artist who we in the Aiwakai federation are lucky to have.
“The juniors very much enjoyed the training, as did the adults. It was nice to see everyone really buzzing from the content of the seminar. I’m looking forward to the next one.”
If anyone is interested in booking a place on the next course, contact Angie by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
The club is also holding a grading and training course soon with 8th dan sensei Sakagami.
