Isaac Newton emerged victorious in the Grantham Schools Netball Tournament.

Fourteen schools entered and the teams were split into three leagues.

Isaac Newton were undefeated in their mini league, winning four games out of four whilst scoring 28 goals without conceding.

The top teams from all three leagues then played each other to produce a final winner overall.

Isaac Newton played Harlaxton first and lost 3-1. They then then faced Corby Glen who they defeated convincingly, 6-0.

And so the result of the final game became crucial and saw Corby Glen beat Harlaxton 4-2 – which meant all three teams had won one game apiece.

However, Isaac Newton won the tournament by virtue of the fact that they scored the most goals.

Isaac Newton also finished as runners-up in the Grantham Schools Netball League too.
