Seven local table tennis players were part of two junior teams that Lincolnshire County Table Tennis Association entered in this year’s county championships, which saw both squads finish at the top of their division.
The junior first team travelled to Cippenham TTC to compete in the Premier Division where they won all of their matches, leaving them top of the league. Local players taking part were Adam Harrison, Matthew Leete, Olivia Churchill and Emily Ross.
The second weekend of competition will be held later in the season, with four matches still to play.
The junior second team visited Draycott TTC to play in Division Two A. Going into the final weekend and after three wins and one loss, they are tied at the top of their division with Lancashire. Local players were Nathan Butler, Hannah Noutch and Beth Cook.
