Cliffedale Chandlers Table Tennis Club were well represented in the National Cadet League event in Northampton on Sunday.

In Division Two, star billing went to Divia Prabhu who played at her best to finish the day with a 100 per cent success record in her eight matches. Joshua Kettle scored a very credible 75 per cent with two very narrow losses

Division 3

The Chandlers C all girl team found it hard work against strong mixed opposition in Division Three. Alex Robinson battled well for her 77 per cent win rate, whilst Jessica Austin was unlucky to be on the wrong end of several exciting 3-2 results.

Debutante Sarah Henderson picked up an excellent first victory after a shoulder injury forced her retirement when previously in a winning position.

Many of the players will be attending regional training and targeting the Chandlers two star Open tournament on November 23 at The Meres leisure centre, followed by the next National Cadet League event in December.
