Bruce is elected Lincs president
A GRANTHAM bowler has been elected as president of Lincolnshire Bowling Association (EBF).
Bruce Allen (pictured) has been Vacu-Lug Bowls Club secretary and greenkeeper for many years, and he is also a past president of Grantham and District Bowls Association and the Horace Bower Championship, and Grantham Indoor Bowling Club
A bowler for many years, Bruce is heavily involved in bowls both indoor and outdoor. He is also a coach and is currently, with the help of other club members, coaching pupils from West Grantham Academy St Hugh’s.
Bruce’s duties as county president will take him across Lincolnshire and into neighbouring counties, as well as the National Championships at Skegness in August.
The Lincolnshire County Finals will be held at Vacu-Lug Bowls Club for the first time this year on July 21 and 22.
