King’s School proved they are the premier rugby side in Lincolnshire at all age categories, winning all the school sevens county cups.
The under-13s and under-14s defeated QEGS Gainsborough and Carres Grammar in their respective finals at Market Rasen last month.
The under-18s then defeated Carres 37-0 in their final after they went through the whole tournament conceding just two tries and scoring 29 of their own. Captain Kieran Taylor led by example and scored eight tries.
King’s Schools under-12, under-13 and under-15 squads went the whole season undefeated.
Head of rugby Cathal McHugh praised local rugby clubs, such as Kesteven RFC, for whom many of his squad play, and added: “The future is certainly bright for schoolboy rugby at King’s.”
