Sponsor secured for Grantham Town's main stand
GRANTHAM Town have secured sponsorship of their main stand at The Meres stadium.
GRANTHAM Town have secured sponsorship of their main stand at The Meres stadium.
The stand will now be known as The Lettings Company Stand.
Lettings Company director David Carter made contact with the club through the Gingerbreads' website and a four figure deal was agreed.
Town chairman Darron Quinn said: "This is the largest package the club have obtained as a direct result of contact via our website.
"We are pleased to welcome The Lettings Companyto the growing number of companies getting involved with The Gingerbreads.
"Thisis a great deal for the club and we hope it will lead to a long term relationship.
"The club have got to continue to open our eyes to different ways of bringing money in like this.
"To survive in football nowadays a club needs to look further afield than just the traditional areas of main sponsor, shirts, programmes and matches and matchballs.
"At Grantham we are very open to any idea."
