Mark Dilloway, aged 55, and his son Jack, aged 23, are familiar faces to anyone who has been into Marren Tiles on London Road.

The business was set up two decades ago by Mark and his wife Karen, with Marren being an amalgamation of their names.

Mark who is Grantham ‘born and bred’ had already spent much of his career in the tile trade, but realising how much he sold on his own decided to open his own business.

Outside of work the whole family are huge Nottingham Forest fans, making the most of being season ticket holders by travelling across the country and abroad to see them play.

Indeed Mark admits that when he first met his wife, checking that she would join him at Forest games was a priority.

The family also enjoy going on regular caravan holidays at the weekends.

Marren Tiles is open Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm and Saturday 8.30am-12.30pm, with a range of wall and floor tiles on offer and home visits also available.
