Five young members of a performing arts group have passed auditions to play roles in a feature film.
The five youngsters - Philip Wilson, James Baker, Kacey Hall, Stella Lloyd and Nadia Potter - all attend the Grantham Academy of Performing Arts and took part in auditions for a film called “Arkala”.
Matthew Hewitt, the principal of GAPA said: “We are all delighted for these young actors, it is a fantastic opportunity for them and it just goes to show how much talent we have in our area. They have all landed the main roles in this extremely funny film and they will take so much from this experience.”
Filming begins in Lincoln this month but will finish just in time for them to go back to school.
There are 60 children who take part in GAPA which started in 2009 with 18 youngsters. For more information on how to be part of The Grantham Academy of Performing Arts email Matthew at email@example.com
