Dysart Park Family Fun Day returns this month with a variety of entertainment and more than 60 stalls.

Libby Simpson, chairman of the Dysart Park Action Group, said there had been an excellent response this year to the event which will take place on Sunday, July 27, from 11am.

The arena programme includes Fenland Netball, Ramon & CoCo, a snake handle and hold display, the Lincs Dog Display, One Touch Football, a falconry display, fun dog show, a classic cars show and the Grantham Rotary horse race final. A band will entertain during the intervals.

There will also be a grand raffle with prizes including a cricket bat signed by Alex Stewart OBE, a Boyes voucher, family day passes to Grimsthorpe Castle, Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre and Belvoir Castle, and a garden ornament donated by Tony Robinson.

There will be a kiddies corner for face painting and a bouncy castle.

Libby said she would like to thank the Rotary Club of Grantham and the Yorkshire Bank for their sponsorship.

If anybody wishes to have a stall at the event they need to put in a quick request to Libby as room is running out. Contact Libby on 01476 594600.

If anybody would like to join the Dysart Park Action Group they should contact Libby as the group would welcome more members.
