A Mini enthusiast is trying to get hundreds of fellow small car lovers to gather together with their Minis to help Grantham Foodbank.

Bex Mezzo, pictured with her Mini and Brian Hanbury of Grantham Foodbank, wants Mini owners throughout the area to fill the boots of their cars with food for the bank and to donate at least £5 on the day to take part in the Big Lincolnshire Mini Picnic 2014.

Bex said: “We are talking with a local venue and it is looking positive. We just need people to come forward now. I came into work this morning and I saw 10 Minis on the way.

“It’s all about spreading the word now and who knows but maybe next year we could do it again and choose another charity.”

To show your interest in taking part Bex needs to know your name (full with title), address, phone – land and mobile number, Mini colour and model (eg. green – Cooper S) and any other comments.
