A proud mother is shouting from the rooftops about her daughters’ artistic flair.

Tammie and Saffron Kirby love nothing more than being creative. And it’s clearly in the genes as they get their inspiration from their mother, Rhiann.

After a split from her partner and the news that she was suffering from Hashimotos disease, a condition affecting the thyroid, Rhiann turned to her hobby of art to get through the tough time.

She said: “A week later I decided to do something with my life and turned my hobby of art into my career.”

Tammie, 9, and Saffron, 7, soon followed in her footsteps, and began creating art of their own.

The intricate birds’ nest was made by Tammie’s fair hands, which she later took into school, National Junior School. She then helped her younger sister, a pupil of Harrowby Infants School, make the pretty cross pictured.

The family lives in Sharpe Road, Grantham.
