A month-long exhibition of paintings and drawings of Grantham beauty spots, portraits and still life will be held upstairs at Liberty Rose’s Tea Room from Friday, November 8.
The works – which will be there until December 7 – have been produced by students from local artist Sarah Watson’s weekly drop-in art classes in the cafe’s studio room and the summer’s landscape classes around the town and nearby countryside.
Also joining the exhibition will be Sam Groves, 14, and Margaret Dawes, 77, showing age is no barrier to talent, as well as members of Sarah’s Budding Artists’ Art Club (ages four to 10).
The exhibition will open at 6.30pm on November 8, with a craft and vintage fayre which will last until 9.30pm.
Liberty Rose’s Tea Room is open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm, in Market Place, Grantham.
