Stoke Rochford Hall will hold its Victorian Christmas market on Saturday and Sunday, November 22 and 23, between 10am and 6pm.
There will be horse-drawn carriage rides around the grounds in an authentic Victorian omnibus. Entry is free.
Both days will see an array of gifts for Christmas on offer from a selection of stalls selling hand-crafted and unique items. There will be a ‘green’ Victorian Santa to visit as well as the world renowned Palace of Curiosities to provide a little bit of eccentricity.
For the first time, the hall will be offering horse-drawn carriage rides, pulled by two grey carriage horses, Arnie and Basil. Rides will take place every 20 minutes between 10am and 4pm on each day and last approximately 15 minutes. Places can be pre-booked at reception for just £4.50 per person. Call 01476 530337. Rides can also be booked on the day.
Visitors can stay for lunch or take afternoon tea to round off the day.
