THE gardens at magnificent Stoke Rochford Hall will be open on Sunday.
The Grade II listed Victorian manor house – now a hotel – is surrounded by 28 acres of landscaped gardens and parkland in the Victorian style, with long herbaceous borders, a rose garden, informal paths and many interesting trees and shrubs.
Admission is £4, children free, and proceeds will go the the National Gardens Scheme, of which Stoke Rochford was a founder member in 1927.
Sunday lunch and afternoon tea will be available in the restaurant. The gardens are open from 10am to 6pm.
l The gardens at the Manor House, Stroxton, will be open on Sunday from 2pm to 5pm for the British Red Cross. Admission is £3.
