IMPOSING Lincoln Cathedral was the latest venue for the choristers of St Wulfram’s Church.
Three services of choral evensong were sung by the group of 30 choristers, including 16 children, during the schools’ half-term holiday.
On the final day, the choir was accompanied on the organ by 16-year-old King’s School pupil Joe Beech, an organ scholar at St Wulfram’s.
Tim Williams, director of music at the church, said: “Every time we take the choristers away, they raise their game to an even higher level.
“Cathedral trips are great for team building within the choir, and a really fun opportunity for all members.
“It was remarkable how the sound of the choir filled and echoed around the cathedral. Grantham should be very proud of the choir.”
The visit to Lincoln follows a trip to sing in York Minster earlier in the year.
