New band Modern Vintage have only been together for four months and already have held a string of successful gigs.

This week offers two opportunities to see them as they are playing The White Lion on Saturday and Eden Wine Bar on Sunday.

The band offers modern twists on vintage classic rock and soul songs from the ‘60s to the present day.

Band member Kerry said: “ We have something to offer that everyone will love!”

They originally got together to play a one-off charity gig at Belton Woods and since then have been booked for gigs in Sleaford, Lincoln and many other places for 2012.

The band is made up of Rich, Rach, Pianist Richie B, Kerry, and local teacher and lead guitarist George. Kerry said: “Modern Vintage intend to rock the beams off and have you out of your seats.”
