TOP rock and rollers The Hicksville Bombers play at The King’s Hotel in North Parade, Grantham, on Saturday night (September 29).

The three-piece Lincoln-based combo have entertained crowds for 20 years, playing a mix of 1950s covers and some self-penned material. Since forming in 1992, they have released five CD albums and two EPs.

Combining a mix of rockabilly, rockin’ blues country and good old rock and roll, the Bombers are a sure thing to blow the roof of any venue.

The Bombers have played at Hemsby Rock ’n’ Roll Weekender, and toured Europe and the USA. They have shared the stage with the likes of Ruth Brown, Charlie Gracie, The Jets, Matchbox and Bill Wyman.

Either side of the band’s two sets, rockin’ DJs Swing Bop Boogie will keep feet tapping and the dancers on the floor.

Admission is £7.50 on the door which opens at 7pm.
