A talented family trio will perform for Grantham Music Club next week.
The Kanneh-Mason Piano Trio will perform at King’s School for the club on Wednesday (November 12) at 7.30pm.
The trio is made up of Isata Kanneh-Mason on piano, Braimah Kanneh-Mason on violin and Sheku Kanneh-Mason on cello.
The teenagers have won much acclaim and many awards. This year Isata was awarded the Walter Todds Bursary in the prestigious BBC Young Musician of the Year finals.
The musicians are no strangers to the King’s School as they have performed there several times, most recently in October in a concert to raise funds and launch the syllabus for next year’s Grantham Music Festival.
They are based in Nottingham and have achieved national recognition on stage and on TV and radio.
Tickets for non-members are available from the Guildhall Arts Centre box office (Tel: 01476 406158) or on the door at a cost of £12, £10 concessions and free to those of school age.
The concert is sponsored by Grantham Estates.
