Shakespeare’s Macbeth will be perormed outdoors at Belton House tomorrow (Saturday, June 23) by touring company The Lord Chamberlain’s Men.
Gates open for picnics at 6pm and the performance by an all-male cast takes place on the East Lawn at 7pm. Audiences are welcome to take along a picnic, rugs and seating.
The contrast between a summer’s evening and Macbeth’s tragic tale incorporating action-packed sword fights and a blood-soaked conclusion make it the ideal entertainment for the National Trust venue.
Tickets on the day are adult £13, child £10, under 5s free.
