Grantham amateur dramatics group St Peter’s Hill Players will be holding one more open audition to cast its upcoming production of Toad of Toad Hall.

This is A.A. Milne’s stage adaptation of Kenneth Grahame’s famous novel The Wind in the Willows, which will be performed at the Guildhall Arts Centre in July.

Toad of Toad Hall is the timeless tale of Mr Toad, a loveable rogue whose whims constantly get the better of him. Together with his friends Mole, Rat and Badger he must defeat the weasels and stoats of the Wild Wood and reclaim his freedom, his home and, of course, his beloved motor car.

The final casting session will be held in the former crèche at Grantham Meres Leisure Centre on Wednesday, March 26. All ages are welcome to audition; youngsters are advised to come along from 6.30pm, while adults are advised to come along from 7.30pm. Actors and actresses of all backgrounds and experience will be made welcome.
