St Peter’s Hill players are holding auditions to cast their forthcoming production of Wyrd Sisters, a popular novel by novelist Terry Pratchett.

The play will be performed at the Guildhall in Grantham in October. Set on the infamous Discworld, Wyrd Sisters is a spoof of Shakespeare’s Macbeth which follows three of Pratchett’s most loved characters, the witches Nanny Ogg, Granny Weatherwax and Magrat, as they try to save their kingdom from the perils of the Wicked Duke and Duchess.

Open auditions are being held at Grantham Meres Leisure Centre on Monday, July 22, at 7.30pm and with a cast of over 20 there are plenty of roles to be filled. Actors and actresses of all ages and experience are welcome.
