Anti-wind farm campaigners start fund-raising drive

Thursday, 10.55am - ANTI-wind farm campaigners this week started a massive fund-raising drive.
BLOT (Belvoir Locals Oppose Turbines) say they will need to raise up to £40,000 for legal representation at Infinergy's appeal against South Kesteven District Council's decision to refuse planning permission for Thackson's Well wind farm near Bottesford.

The group is also raising funds for their campaign against Ridgewind's plans to build a wind farm at Beacon Hill in Bottesford.

This week, volunteers delivered 5,500 leaflets to houses in villages near the proposed wind farm sites asking for donations.
