Published Date: 15 July 2008
Tuesday, 3pm - A DATE has been set for the appeal against a decision to refuse a planning application for 10 wind turbines at a site near Grantham.
The appeal, brought by Dorset-based firm Infinergy, is expected to start at The Meres Leisure Centre in Trent Road, Grantham, on Tuesday, September 30 and last eight days.

Infinergy appealed against South Kesteven District Council's development control committee's decision in March to refuse permission to build a wind farm at Thackson's Well, close to Bottesford, Normanton and Long Bennington.

Campaign group BLOT welcomed the decision and are currently trying to raise around £40,000 to fund their representations at the forthcoming appeal.
