Published Date: 20 June 2008
Friday, 9.30am - INTERNATIONAL property firm Savills has sold its 50 per cent share in wind farm developer Infinergy for £23m.
The firm, which will make £17m before-tax profit from the sale, sold its share to Dutch joint venture partner Koop Duurzame Energie.

Infinergy, which is appealing against a decision not to allow a wind farm to be built at Thackson's Well near Long Bennington and Bottesford, was set up in 2003 to identify possible wind farm sites around the country.

So far, none of its potential sites have received planning permission and Savills said the firm's next phase of development will be "increasingly capital intensive".
