Monday, 11.45am - STUDENTS at Grantham College will be able to find out more about the wind farm debate tomorrow when Infinergy, which plans to build 10 turbines north of Grantham, and anti-wind farm campaigners visit.
The event has been organised by the Students Association and will allow students to ask questions of representatives of both Infinergy, the Sustainable Energy Alliance and BLOT - Belvoir Locals Opposing Turbines.

At the end of the session, students will be asked to indicate whether they are for or against the scheme, planned for a site near Long Bennington.

Student liaison officer Drew Walsh said: "The SEA came in to speak to students in February and the students decided they would like to know more about opposing views too, which is why we organised this awareness day.

"Not all students are 16-years-old and we have 4,000 people here who this potentially affects. It is their future too and they want to know more about the issue."

The event will be held at college from noon to 1.30pm.
