Wind farm exhibitions start tomorrow

Thursday, 10.50am - WIND farm developer Ridgewind will hold an exhibition in Bottesford tomorrow (June 27) to inform the public about their plans to build tubines at Beacon Hill.
The developer, which calls the site Palmer's Hollow, will hold the exhibition in the village hall from 2pm to 7.30pm.

Next week, anti-wind farm campaigners BLOT will hold their own roadshows in villages in the area.

These will be used to explain more about the group's activities and what they intend to do in future.

The meetings will be at Long Bennington Village Hall on Monday at 7pm, at Allington Village Hall on Friday, July 4 at 7pm and at Bottesford Village Hall on Sunday, July 6 at 7.30pm.

Jane Davis, who was forced to leave her Deeping St Nicholas home after a wiind farm was built nearby, will give a presentation at the Bottesford meeting.
