Last Friday (January 12) I spent a couple of hours counting the number of shops and eateries whilst walking in Grantham from Sainsbury’s in London Road to Lidl in Watergate and in St Catherine’s Road and Westgate as I was trying to find out why we need more similar premises adjacent to the proposed new cinema complex in St Catherine’s Road. I was shocked by my findings!
