Have your say

It is not very often that a mum of a young child has the opportunity to pamper herself. So when Sarah from Grantham Beauty Clinic invited me to try their New and Exclusive Clarins Melting Honey Hot Stone Massage, I jumped at the chance.

Grantham Beauty Clinic has now been on the go for 35 years. Working in town, for me it is just a short walk away, and makes it very accessible to many.

On arrival, I was greeted by Sarah and introduced to my therapist Kathryn Appleyard, who has been at Grantham Beauty Clinic for 10 years. I was shown to the serene and atmospheric treatment room. Kathryn invited me to slip into something more comfortable and relax under the fluffy brown towels piled on the bed.

Kathryn started the treatment, which nourishes the skin as well as unknotting muscles and soothing the mind. Honey gel is applied to the feet, legs, hands, arms, shoulders and decollete, followed by the chosen oil designed to make the stone massage smooth and seamless.

Kathryn used her hands and nine smooth, warm individually shaped heat releasing marble and slate stones in a deep but soothing massage. The warmth of the stones is wonderful and reaches parts that other massages simply can’t reach.

Kathryn then used warm mits and applied eau dynamisante shower mousse, which refreshes the body and takes away the honey.

THE VERDICT: I’m relaxed, feel heavenly, and I smell and feel divine!
