Irene remembers the King of Skiffle visiting Grantham

Irene Cresswell worked at the Granada for 10 years up to its closure in October 1987.

She is pictured alongside self-proclaimed ‘King of Skiffle’ Lonnie Donegan when he appeared there in the 1980s.

To the left of Irene is Debbie Meeghan and to the right of Lonnie is Caroline Wilson, both of whom were fellow Granada workers.

Irene believes the woman having an autograph signed by Lonnie is friend and fellow music fan Joyce Buglass.
