MEMORY LANE: Coach ran through Grantham

Tim Bird sent in this photo of the Gay Gordon road coach.

It was photographed at the Red House Stables Carriage Museum in Darley Dale.

Built by Venthams of Leatherhead, the carriage was believed to have run the road from Edinburgh to London between 1832 and 1864, with Grantham a stop-off on the route.
