MEMORY LANE: Grantham cub scouts scrubbed fire tender for funds

Three cub scouts spent more than an hour cleaning an appliance at Grantham Fire Station back in April, 1986.

The youngsters worked flat out on the engine, and their reward for all their efforts . . . a whip round by the firefighters to go towards bob-a-job week fund-raising.
