MEMORY LANE: Grantham school students were ball-boys at England match

Four lads from Grantham schools were picked by their sports masters to be ball-boys for the England versus Hungary match at Wembley in July 1981.

It was the turn of the Lincolnshire FA to supply ball-boys and four Grantham senior schools were asked to nominate one boy each.

They were, from left – Nick Pigott (King’s), Jason Fisher (St Hugh’s), Darren Wright (Central) and Simon Sparks (St Wulfram’s).
