lKing’s School held its annual athletics championship. A boy named Bladon won the headmaster’s Challenge Cup after coming first in the long jump, 100 yard dash, quarter mile and mile.

lAn inquest was held into the death of a man in Fulbeck. Arthur Cook died after falling from a horse. Dr Hardy carried out the post mortem examination and said Cook had the “thinnest skull he had ever seen”.
