Have your say

These factory girls are celebrating finishing their shift at some time in the 1960s.

We’re grateful to Eddie Berridge for sending the photograph. Those pictured include his wife, Val.

The girls are pictured outside the Freeman, Hardy & Willis factory in Dysart Road, Grantham.

Mr Berridge said: “I think what they are wearing is the uniform issued around about that time, otherwise I really don’t know anything about it.”

Pictured are, from left: Sybil Meadows, Ann Ward (nee Shelton), Diedre Dickinson, Val Berridge (nee Gillin), Cath Ballam, Rosina Armitage (nee Defusto).
