THE “Norwich Stagecoach”, made up of a coach and horses, made this stop-off in Buckminster for refreshments in 1958.

Robert Duffin, then of Buckminster but now of Barrowby, took the photograph and brought it into the Journal this week.

He said: “It was what was called the Norwich Stagecoach and it stopped here right outside the Tollemache Arms in Buckminster

“The lady standing on the right is Mrs Kerry who is due to turn 100 this month.”

Also pictured with Mrs Kerry is her son Martin who can be seen on his tricycle, while Mr Duffin also spotted the Sunbeam Rapier car in the background, parked outside Buckminster Estates.
