Ropsley FC amassed trophies galore in the early 1970s

Former Ropsley FC full back Terry Wells brought this photo of his side from 1971 into the Journal office.

Grantham Saturday Premier League champions that season, they amassed nine trophies in one campaign, losing only one cup final.
