Slideshow: Grounds of Easton Walled Gardens are awash with snowdrops

Snowdrops are in bloom once again at Easton Walled Gardens.

The gardens, off the A1 south of Grantham, attract many visitors at this time of year, all keen to view the white flowers. So popular are they that owner Lady Ursula Cholmeley puts on Snowdrop Week each year, which attracted crowds when it was held last week.

The flowers, predominantly naturalised snowdrops and aconites, grow across 12 acres of grounds, cared for by Easton Walled Gardens’ four gardeners.

Easton Walled Gardens is open daily, 11am-4pm. As well as picturesque walks, there is a tearoom and gift shop. Admission is £6.95 per adult and £2.95 per child.
