Starbar is Lincolnshire's favourite chocolate bar
A new study has revealed Lincolnshire's favourite chocolate bar, ahead of World Chocolate Day on Wednesday (July 7).
The study, by Casino.co.uk, analysed Google search to see which chocolate bars are the UK's favourite.
Starbar has been named as Lincolnshire's favourite chocolate bar, with Double Decker coming in second, Galaxy Ripple in third, Cadbury Fudge in fourth and Aero Bubbles in fifth.
It is predicted that the average person from Lincolnshire spends £4,914 on Starbars in their lifetime.
A single Cadbury Starbar costs 65p, so if the average adult eats their favourite chocolate bar 7,560 times, they would spend £4,914 on their favourite bar.
Britain is a nation of chocolate lovers with the average Brit predicted to consume 7,560 chocolate bars, 2,268 slices of chocolate cake and 8,316 chocolate biscuits in a lifetime.
Across England Snickers was the top choice in 39 counties. Toblerone was a distant second, taking the top spot eight times. Caramac held first place in seven counties.
