Teenager admits stealing a car and jewellery from a cottage near Grantham
A teenager has admitted stealing keys, jewellery and jewellery boxes from a cottage in Boothby Pagnell.
The 17-year-old, who can't be identified for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to a charge of burglary when he appeared at Lincoln Crown Court.
He also admitted a second charge of stealing a VW Golf car.
Both offences occurred on December 20, 2017.
In mitigation, the court heard the youth had no previous convictions and had stayed out of trouble for the last two years.
Recorder Patrick Upward QC agreed to adjourn sentence on the teenager for the preparation of a report by the probation service.
He was granted bail and will be sentenced at Lincoln Crown Court at the end of January.
